- Generate and secure new business across personal care, skincare, color cosmetics, haircare, and home care formulators, OEMs, and ODMs in Malaysia.
- Manage, retain, and grow relationships with brand owners, contract manufacturers, and local FMCG formulators.
- Deliver annual revenue, gross margin, and volume targets through effective pricing strategies, contract negotiation, and technical value propositions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and unmet customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with global specialty chemical principals to introduce new actives, functional ingredients, and formulation concepts to local formulators.
- Coordinate with the regional business unit and Singapore HQ on supply forecasts, portfolio strategy, and promotional campaigns.
- Bridge customers’ R&D and procurement requirements with technical application specialists to accelerate sampling-to-order conversion.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from technical presentations and sample qualification to commercial negotiation, credit term management, and after-sales support.
- Establish the operational and commercial foundation for the Malaysian Personal Care business, with future responsibility for hiring and mentoring junior sales or technical specialists as the business grows.

- 4–8 years of B2B specialty chemical sales experience, with relevant experience in Personal Care, Cosmetics, or Home Care in Malaysia.
- Established commercial and R&D networks among Malaysian contract manufacturers, OEMs/ODMs, and consumer brand owners.
- Proven track record of independently managing full sales cycles and growing customer accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Cosmetic Science, Bioengineering, or a related technical discipline; commercial degrees with relevant industry experience will also be considered.
- Working knowledge of personal care raw materials and formulation chemistry, including actives, surfactants, emollients, emulsifiers, and rheology modifiers, with an understanding of Malaysian regulatory requirements and NPRA guidelines.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Klang Valley, Penang, Johor, and other manufacturing hubs in Malaysia.
