  Job Description

  • Lead the Group's finance function, overseeing accounting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, and statutory reporting.
  • Drive strategic financial planning and partner with the Managing Director and Board on business growth, investments, and commercial decisions.
  • Lead IPO readiness initiatives, strengthening financial governance, internal controls, and Bursa Malaysia compliance.
  • Ensure timely preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with MFRS, IFRS, and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
  • Oversee annual reports, Bursa announcements, corporate governance disclosures, and regulatory reporting.
  • Manage treasury, cash flow, capital structure, banking relationships, and corporate financing activities.
  • Lead financial due diligence, M&A evaluations, corporate restructuring, and strategic investment projects.
  • Act as the key liaison with auditors, tax agents, regulators, company secretaries, and financial institutions.
  • Establish robust risk management, internal control, and corporate governance frameworks.
  • Lead and develop the finance team while driving finance transformation, digitalisation, and process improvements.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Accountant with MIA membership and a professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MICPA/ICAEW or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role within a PLC or large corporate group.
  • Strong knowledge of Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, corporate governance, statutory reporting, and Board reporting.
  • Experience in IPO preparation, capital management, treasury, taxation, and financial governance is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of MFRS/IFRS, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management.
  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing finance teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage Board members, regulators, auditors, and external advisors.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment will be an added advantage.
